The waste water treatment plant is a remarkable project which has combined various experts from different countries and different fields. The plant benefited from the technology and know-how of Suez Environnemnt and Degremont, leading companies with worldwide reputation. More than seventy percent of all works were carried out by contractors from the Maribor region and with great support and understanding of the Municipality of Maribor.The construction of waste water treatment plant Maribor is a one of the first examples of private capital entering the public sector, resulting in a high-technology environmental protection facility without the engagement of own financial investment resources, allowing the Municipality’s budget resources to be used for other important projects. We in Aquasystems strongly believe that we act as social responsible company by our efforts towards environmental protection, excellent relations with business partners and population. We are open in understanding of the contemporaneous issues and we take care for the future generations, for which we strive to preserve the city such as we live in today.
